Welcome to Lux Oud. These Terms of Service explain how purchases made through www.lux-oud.com are handled. By placing an order, you agree to these terms, subject to your statutory consumer rights.

2. Our Products

Lux Oud offers perfume oils, oud fragrances, musks, fragrance gift sets and selected home fragrance products.

We endeavour to present products accurately, including their sizes, descriptions and photographs. Minor differences in colour or presentation may occur. Please refer to each product listing for the specific fragrance, size and contents of your purchase.

3. Orders and Availability

Orders are subject to availability and acceptance.

After placing an order, you will receive an email acknowledgement. We will confirm dispatch once your order is ready to be sent.

If an item becomes unavailable, we will contact you and offer an appropriate alternative or a refund for the unavailable item.

4. Pricing and Payment

Our base currency is pounds sterling (GBP). Where supported, prices may be displayed and charged in the currency of your selected country or market. The currency and amount payable are confirmed at checkout. Your bank or payment provider may apply its own conversion fees.

Delivery charges and any taxes or duties collected by Lux Oud are displayed before payment. Customers are responsible for applicable destination import taxes, customs duties and carrier clearance charges unless checkout explicitly states that these have been included or collected. Where a service requires prepaid import charges, these must be collected from the customer before dispatch. Please see our Shipping Policy for details.

We accept the payment methods presented at checkout. Payment availability may vary.

We may update prices and promotional offers for future purchases, but changes will not affect orders already accepted.

5. Delivery

Lux Oud offers complimentary UK delivery on every order, with no minimum purchase requirement.

Available shipping methods and estimated delivery dates are displayed during checkout or communicated in your order confirmation.

Delivery estimates are not guaranteed arrival dates. Unless another delivery period has been agreed, goods will be delivered without undue delay and within 30 days of purchase.

International delivery is available only to destinations offered at checkout. Additional shipping charges may apply.

6. Cancellations and Returns

For most online purchases, you have a statutory right to cancel your order within 14 days after receiving your goods, without providing a reason.

After informing us of your cancellation, you normally have a further 14 days to return the goods.

Certain statutory exceptions may apply, including qualifying sealed goods that are unsuitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed. Such exceptions apply only where legally permitted.

These cancellation rights are separate from your legal rights if a product is faulty, damaged or not as described.

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under UK consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

7. Product Safety and Use

Perfume oils are intended for external use only. Avoid contact with the eyes and keep fragrance products away from children.

We recommend following product instructions and carrying out a patch test before applying a new fragrance, particularly if you have sensitive skin.

Bakhoor and incense products must be used with suitable burners and appropriate fire precautions. Never leave a burning product unattended.

8. Intellectual Property

All website content, including photographs, product descriptions, graphics, designs and Lux Oud branding, belongs to Lux Oud or is used with permission.

Commercial reproduction or unauthorised use is prohibited.

9. Privacy

We take customer privacy seriously. Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection legislation.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Updated terms will be published on our website.

Changes will not retrospectively alter the contractual terms of an order that has already been accepted.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without excluding mandatory consumer protections that apply elsewhere in the United Kingdom.
